Departmental Philosophy

The members of the mathematics department strive to provide an educational environment whereby each student is able to succeed to the maximum of his or her ability.  We view mathematics education as a serious necessity in the techno-logical society in which our students will someday work. Our staff works well together and represents a healthy mix of beginning, intermediate, and veteran teachers. We enjoy our profession, have utmost respect for our students and each other, and are proud of our tradition of excellent test scores and well-adjusted graduates.
