The BHS Library provides our students with a wide variety of the best available resources, both print and on-line, in a comfortable and attractive academic environment. The goals of the library are to teach students to be effective users of information, and to encourage students to read for learning and enjoyment

Book check-out: requires a student ID card. There is a three weeks check out period, but books can be renewed. Overdue books are subject to a fine of 5¢ per day.

Library access: Open before school, during all class periods, brunch, lunch, and after school (Academic Center). Classes scheduled by teachers have first priority for use of resources and space. Students with a Hall Pass or without a scheduled class may use library during class periods if space is available

Library rules: No eating or drinking, no cell phone use, quiet and respectful behavior.

Computer use: Must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy on file, and use for academic, not recreational use. No game playing, chat rooms, or inappropriate websites.
