Over 300 people attended the much anticipated completion of the new Burlingame High School gym on August 27, 2025!

The ceremony was emcee’d by BHS Principal Dr. Jen Fong. Several dignitaries spoke at the event, including SMUHSD Board Vice President Teri Chavez, Citizens Oversight Committee Member Erica Lyons, Burlingame Mayor Peter Stevenson, BHS Athletic Director John Philopopolous; Burlingame alum Michael Jarrett and BHS Parent Group President Ingrid Gauthier.

Big thank you to student athletes Samantha Hollrah and Nick Armstrong who both spoke about how important this new gym is to the students.
