Fall - Entrepreneurship (Dual and Non-Dual Enrollment)

This course develops the entrepreneurial mindset and practical business skills. Students explore idea generation, market research, financial literacy, business planning, and pitching. Through hands-on projects and a capstone venture, students gain real-world experience and prepare for careers or higher education in business, technology, or innovation.

Spring - Intro to Business (Dual and Non-Dual Enrollment)

This course introduces students to the primary functions of business, including marketing, management, accounting, finance, and operations, with attention to current trends, ethical considerations, and social responsibility. Students will explore domestic and global business environments, examine financial markets, and gain foundational skills in business communication, project management, and operations. Additionally, the course integrates Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards, preparing students for leadership roles and practical business applications. Students completing this course will have the knowledge and skills to analyze business challenges, create marketing strategies, understand organizational structures, and communicate effectively in professional contexts. Participation in DECA activities is encouraged to extend learning through competitions and applied projects.
