The Burlingame High School Music Boosters is a volunteer organization that supports the band and choir programs at Burlingame High School through fundraising, concert support and coordinating band and choir activities. Meetings are the third Thursday of every month unless otherwise noted. Please join us to stay informed about the music programs and volunteer opportunities. The Burlingame High School Music Department classes are open to all Burlingame High School students and begin on the first day of school as part of the students’ regular class schedule. The band and choir entertain at home football and basketball games, pep rallies, community events, numerous concerts, and compete at California Music Educators Association events.
Band: Wind and jazz ensembles are audition only. All band members must participate in the Burlingame High School marching/pep band in order to enroll in the concert band, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble.
Chorus is part of the students’ regular class schedule.
Auditions for the district-wide Chambers Singers occurs in the Spring of the previous school year. Please contact Shawn Reifschneider at sreifschneider@smuhsd.org for more information. Singers meets twice a week after school and is audition only. Students should be concurrently enrolled in another performing ensemble (band or choir).Support Music Programs!
