Jenny Gibson

Jenny Gibson is the Assistant Principal of Burlingame High School. Prior to joining the BHS Administrative team in the 2022-2023 school year, she worked in the San Francisco Unified School District since 2009, as a classroom teacher, Restorative Practices coach, Assistant Principal, then in the office of College and Career Readiness as both Supervisor of Work Based Learning and High School Credit Recovery. Jenny is a fluent Mandarin speaker who brings her personal experiences as an English-language learner in Bay Area public schools to her work supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse students. Jenny earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree at Woodbury University. She then earned her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from National University. When Jenny is not at BHS, you can find her doing yoga, on a bay area hiking trail or throwing pottery.
